Many clients use this option if they need a second opinion, if they lodged a self-application and require final clarity, or if their visa is already lodged and they require post-lodgement assistance. You may also want to use this option if you’re unsure of your options in Australia and want to discuss where to begin.
If you are ready to begin preparing for your residency, if your employer has offered your sponsorship, or if you need an in-depth consultation on how to approach your future immigration goals in Australia, this is your best option. We allow an additional 10 minutes for any last questions and provide a written summary with important information.
If you have just realised your visa is expiring today, please use this option. It is always far better to act quickly and resolve the situation as soon as possible. Waiting until morning to speak to someone may mean an entirely different outcome.
This option is also great for those who work outside regular hours.
We understand that weekdays can be difficult to navigate with work and other commitments. Our weekend consultation option is designed to offer flexibility for those who are only available on Saturdays or Sundays.
If your situation is urgent, such as an upcoming visa expiry, booking a weekend consultation can ensure you receive the guidance you need without any unnecessary delay.
The fee covers the fixed time with the Principal Immigration Consultant to first learn the details of your situation, assess, and provide you with immigration advice.
Follow up questions are welcome about the topic of the consultation. Where a new pathway or matter requires assessment, a new consultation is required.
Most consultations are online via Zoom or a phone call. However, an in person consultation can be arranged. Simply mark this in your booking or email us at info@wintrconsulting.com.au after your booking and we’ll assist with this arrangement.
Yes. It’s great to have a support person with you. Simply mark in your booking who will be present with you.
No, we don’t allow for consultations to be recorded. A summary of important details from your consultation will be sent to you for all Standard, Out of Hours and Weekend consultations.
Should you require a written summary for Express consultations, this is available for $65.00.
Your consultation time will begin at the scheduled time. If you are late, we will do our best within the remaining time, but the session will not be extended or refunded.
Yes. We understand circumstances change where you no longer require a consultation. Simply reach out via email to info@wintrconsulting.com.au and we’ll arrange the cancellation and full refund less fees absorbed by Stripe/Paypal.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are non-refundable.
If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours ahead of your consultation. Rescheduling can be done through the link available on the email you received after you booked your consultation.
Yes. All consultations are fully confidential and protected by professional privilege.
No record, document or information is shared with parties outside of the consultation without your prior permission.
No migration agent can guarantee the outcome of your visa application.
As registered migration agents, we are bound by the Code of Conduct, which prohibits making false or misleading statements about immigration opportunities or risks.
Section 26(1)(a)(ii) of the Code states that a migration agent must not make a false or misleading statement relating to “the chances of success of an application.”
Our responsibility is to provide honest, professional advice based on your circumstances and to help you prepare the strongest application possible.
No. Consultation fees are not credited toward future services.
The consultation is a full service on its own merit and skill, where we assess your situation and provide tailored advice. Because of the time and expertise involved, the fee is separate and not applied to future work.
Yes. We recommend sending any relevant documents ahead of time so your consultation can be as productive as possible.
If you have multiple documents, please forward them to info@wintrconsulting.com.au with your name and ‘consultation documents’ in the subject.
Consultations can often go into overtime; this is standard, especially if the matter is complex.
We allow up to 10 minutes beyond the fixed consultation time at no additional charge. If the consultation exceeds this, additional time is billed pro rata at the Principal Consultant’s hourly rate of $350.
Refunds are not provided where a consultation ends earlier than the fixed time. This is because the time booked is reserved in exclusivity, and the full fee applies regardless of how much of the time is used.
You are welcome to email us with any additional questions you have after the consultation provided they are relevant to the consultation topic.
Assessments or questions relating to separate pathways will require a new consultation.
